Seamus Kraft leads The OpenGov Foundation (OGF), a fiercely apolitical non-profit technology company dedicated to serving those who serve the people in America’s legislatures. Seamus co-founded The OGF inside the US Congress in January 2013, and has helped radically upgrade more than 50 legislatures across the country and worldwide. Before The OGF, Seamus built and led the top tech team in Congress. TechCrunch has named him one of the Most Innovative People in Democracy, and in 2016 the Library of Congress awarded him their highest honor— the James Madison Award. From Massachusetts, Seamus studied classical political philosophy, scholastic theology and military history at Georgetown University.
